You know how successful national parks have been on land, so how about some in the ocean. Tasmanian has a unique ocean wilderness that needs protecting too.

It won’t take a lot of money, or cost any jobs, and it might help us to adjust to big challenges like climate change.

In an age of increasing threats to these isolated small areas of special natural values, we need to do more to keep them healthy for future generations.

“Tasmanians for Marine Parks” is a campaign Marine Life Network a group involved in education an advocacy about important issues in the ocean. An effort to create a network of marine parks stalled in the 2000s. Help us to restart a conversation about the special places in Tasmania’s ocean.

TMP is not affiliated with any political party, or political interest group and is trying to include people from a broad range of political views and backgrounds, especially people who haven’t thought about supporting an environmental campaign before.
